Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

- Review your completed tax return before signing.
- Promptly respond to requests for additional information.
- Notify us of any errors or omitted information before filing.
You remain legally responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information provided on your tax return.
Failure to provide complete, accurate, and timely information may delay the preparation of your return or require us to decline or terminate the engagement.
Compliance with Tax Laws
Avondale Tax Services LLC prepares tax returns in accordance with applicable federal and state tax laws, IRS regulations, published guidance, and professional standards.
We reserve the right to decline any engagement or refuse to prepare, file, amend, or support any tax position that we reasonably believe is unsupported by applicable law or the facts provided by the client.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- False or misleading information.
- Unsupported deductions or credits.
- Improper filing status.
- Improper dependency claims.
- Unsupported requests for tax exemptions.
- Any position we believe violates applicable tax law.
We will not prepare, file, amend, or support any tax return, tax position, treaty claim, exemption request, deduction, credit, or other filing that we reasonably determine is not supported by applicable federal or state tax law, IRS regulations, published guidance, or the facts and documentation provided by the client.
If we conclude that a requested position is not legally supportable, we may decline the engagement, refuse to prepare or file that portion of the return, or recommend that you seek an independent opinion from another qualified tax professional. Our decision is based on our professional judgment, applicable tax laws, and the information made available to us.
Fees & Payment
Preparation fees will be disclosed before work begins whenever possible. Additional services requested after the initial engagement may result in additional fees.
Payment may be required before the completed tax return is released or electronically filed.
Electronic Communications, Text Messages & Electronic Signatures
By using our website, creating an account, or engaging our services, you consent to receive communications electronically. These communications may include emails, secure client portal messages, electronic documents, and text (SMS) messages related to your account and tax preparation services.
SMS messages may be used to notify you of important updates, including document requests, appointment reminders, payment reminders, return status updates, signature requests, and other service-related communications. Message frequency may vary depending on your engagement. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
You may opt out of receiving non-essential text messages at any time by following the instructions provided in the message or by contacting us. Opting out of text messages may limit our ability to provide timely updates regarding your tax return.
Where permitted by applicable law, electronic records and electronic signatures, including IRS authorization forms and engagement documents, shall have the same legal effect as original handwritten signatures.

Limitation of Liability
Our services are based entirely upon the information and documentation provided by you.
